The ABB expansion adds a 3-horsepower feather picker motor to the Compact Nema 145 frame. This standardized size provides powerful output with a small footprint, allowing you to directly replace existing motors without costly changes.

The motor is seamlessly integrated into a 230-volt or 460-volt system with dual voltage capabilities, eliminating special wiring and allowing faster swaps across the entire facility. Installation options include foot and C-face foot designs. For wiring, the motor offers a 360 degree rotatable conduit box or optional pre-wired water tight version for washdown environments to facilitate connections.

Built of corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel with static seals, encapsulated windings and IP69 ingress protection, ABB’s food safe feather picker motor withstands daily pressure cleaning. Smooth, gapless surfaces, welded feet and external drains make it easier to thoroughly disinfect, reducing the risk of contamination and supporting compliance with strict food safety standards.
