Bentley and its users were recognized for their progressive approach to carbon reduction and water and energy resilience.

June 23, 2025 – Bentley Systems, Incorporated, the Infrastructure Engineering Software Company, was recognized across multiple categories at the Environmental Analyst 2025 Sustainability Delivery Awards held in Chicago earlier this month.
Bentley won the highest honors in two award categories, highly rated by a third, highlighting the company’s continued leadership in innovation and measurable progress in achieving its global infrastructure sustainability goals.
Digital Innovation Award: Bentley’s carbon analysis capabilities in Itwin Experience have been recognized for its ability for infrastructure engineers to simplify and streamline data collection and carbon reporting, easily visualize and quantify materialized carbon, quickly explore alternatives for better design, and reduce the risk of key infrastructure projects. Water Project of the Year (Winner): Bentley and Sabesp were recognized in Integra 4.0 Cultural Change through their digitization projects. It is a landmark initiative to accelerate the modernization of Brazil’s sustainable water infrastructure through digital twin technology. Energy Project of the Year (highly acclaimed): Bentley, alongside EXO, was recognized for Evergy’s Capacity Structure Stabilization Project, an effort to utilize digital modeling and predictive analytics to increase the resilience of the Everology Grid.
These awareness highlights Bentley’s commitment and leadership position to improve sustainability through digital engineering solutions that enable more resilient, efficient and low-carbon infrastructure. The Water and Energy Project was previously recognized at Bentley’s 2024 Infrastructure Conference: Sabesp Integra 4.0 Program. Although recognized as a digital award recipient in the Water and Wastewater category by a panel of independent ju-describers, the Exo Evergy Powersy Transporting Structure Stabilization Program received the Bentley Founders.
“At Bentley, our vision of sustainability reflects the urgent need for future global infrastructure,” said Chris Bradshaw, Chief Sustainability and Education Director for the Bentley Systems. “Digital twins are essential for sustainable development and help users to optimally balance the balance of environmental, social and economic outcomes. We are proud to continue to be committed to delivering solutions that drive real progress towards our climate and resilience goals, recognized in several categories of the 2025 Sustainability Delivery Awards.”
The Sustainability Delivery Awards, hosted by environmental analysts, celebrate innovation, leadership and tangible advancements across global infrastructure. This year’s award, judged by an independent panel of industry experts, brought together leaders and changemakers and committed to transforming the infrastructure sector for a more sustainable future.
