Dr. Brown, a manufacturer of baby products like bottles, pacifiers, pumps and teeth, is optimising Supply Chain Operation.

The company has sought solutions that will help meet the growing demand within its distribution network, a source of information from both overseas suppliers and US production facilities. To increase efficiency, the primary distribution center was expanded by more than 30%.

Brown’s Dr. Brown’s Hank Murphy and operations said the company needs a flexible architecture.

As a result, we partnered with warehouse management systems provider Made4Net to overhaul our legacy inventory system to meet increasing complexity of our network.

New technology streamlined the process. In particular, it offers improved control of first-out inventory management and accuracy, product tracking and pallet management, scalability, real-time visibility, and replenishment and picking processes.

“The platform provides room for growth while aligning with long-term IT strategies and easily integrating with the current ERP environment,” Murphy said in a statement.
