June 17, 2025 – Allgon Group announces today the appointment of Linda Nyquist-Evenrud as the new CEO of Allgon Group. She will assume the role on Sept. 1, 2025, succeeding Ola Samelius, who will retire in 2026 after many successful years with the company. The recruitment process began in the autumn of 2024 as part of the company’s long-term strategic planning.

Linda most recently served as CEO of Kongsberg Automotive, where she had a long and successful career with over 15 years of experience in various leadership roles within the company’s global organization. Since joining in 2008, she has held several key positions, including senior vice president of the Couplings business unit and executive vice president of Flow Control Systems. Linda has a strong track record in business and operational development and leadership, with a particular focus on building high-performing teams and creating long-term value.

“We are very pleased to welcome Linda to Allgon,” said Sophie Hagströmer, chair of the Board at Allgon Group. “She is a clear and attentive leader with extensive experience in driving change in global, technology-intensive environments—and has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to create structure, results, and team spirit. With her business-oriented leadership and strong focus on customer value, she is the right person to lead Allgon into its next phase. The Board also extends its sincere appreciation to Ola Samelius for his valuable contributions over more than 22 years with the Group—and for his excellent collaboration in finding his successor.”

“I am honored by the trust placed in me and truly look forward to becoming part of Allgon and to contribute to its ongoing journey,” said Linda Nyquist-Evenrud. “With a strong team in place, my ambition is for us to take the next step together—with a focus on customer value, profitable growth, and sustainable leadership. Through collaboration, clear goals and a commitment to continuous improvement, I am confident that we can achieve both great results and long-term success.”

“I am very pleased that we have found such a strong successor in Linda,” said Ola Samelius. “I look forward to working with her during the transition period and am confident that her experience and leadership will be highly valuable for Allgon’s continued success.”
