Houston – (Business Wire) – ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) today announced that it will be suspending its reporting issuer of all Julis Disciplines in Canada, seeking a joint order (order) from the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) as principal regulators. If the required order is granted by the ASC and the OSC, Conocophillips will no longer become the reporting issuer of Canadian jurisdiction.

Despite the decision that ConocoPhillips is not a Canadian reporting issuer, ConocoPhillips will continue to submit all financial statements and other continuing disclosure materials necessary to file in accordance with applicable US securities laws and regulations of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). All such ongoing disclosure documents from ConocoPhilips are made public by all ConocoPhilips security holders under ConocoPhilips’ profile at www.sec.gov. Conocophillips security holders who reside in Canada will continue to receive copies of the ongoing disclosure documents that must be delivered to US security holders in the same way as required under applicable US securities laws and NYSE regulations.
