The terms of the contract have not been disclosed.
“This partnership will help you engage with fans in new ways, from personalized content to real-time match insights,” said Richard Masters, CEO of the English Premier League, in a news release.
According to the league, the English Premier League is widely viewed as the world’s most prestigious football organization, and is the most viewed airing match in 189 countries, reaching 900 million homes worldwide.
“By leveraging secure cloud and AI technologies, including Azure Ai Foundry Services with Azure Openai, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Dynamics 365, we will change the way soccer is experienced, delivered and managed on the field.”
Under the partnership, Microsoft is also becoming a cloud computing partner for the league after previous contracts Oracle Ended.
