July 21, 2025 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., a certified global distributor with the latest electronic components and industrial automation products. has announced a new e-book in collaboration with Texas Instruments (TI), a global company that designs, manufactures, tests and sells analog and embedded semiconductors. In this ebook, 13 industry experts explore how autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) redefine industries from warehouses to manufacturing and industrial automation.
AMR has emerged as an important part of the automation puzzle as the industry is increasingly pressured to operate more efficiently, ensure workers are safe and meet evolving market demands. This new ebook (13 experts discuss autonomous mobile robots) explains the most pressing challenges and how Texas instruments can help customers build the next generation of mobile robotics with innovative products.
The LM74680EVM evaluation module allows designers to evaluate the TI LM74680 ideal diode bridge controller in a 12-pin DRR package. The LM74680 bridge controller reduces printed circuit board (PCB) areas by simplifying the power supply design, eliminating heat sinks, reducing voltage drops and reducing power dissipation. Applications include Internet Protocol (IP) cameras and power distribution systems.
TI’s TMS320F28P65X Real-Time Microcontroller (MCU) belongs to the C2000 real-time microcontroller family of scalable, ultra-low latency devices. The microcontroller real-time control subsystem is based on a 32-bit C28X DSP core and offers 200 MIPS signal processing performance on each core of floating or fixed point code that runs from on-chip flash or SRAM. The TMS320F28P65X MCU is suitable for robot servo drives and mobile robot motor control.
Ti’s IWR6X MMWave 60GHz to 64GHz sensor is an integrated single-chip MMWave sensor based on FMCW radar technology. Built with TI’s proprietary low-power RFCMOS process, the IWR6X MMWave 60GHz to 64GHz sensor offers an exceptional level of integration levels in small form factors. The sensor is ideal for low power, self-monitoring, ultra-high-quality radar systems in industrial spaces with applications such as gesture recognition, motion detection, proximity and position sensing.
The TDA4VE-Q1/TDA4AL-Q1/TDA4VL-Q1 SYSTEM-ON-CHIP (SOC) processor is based on the advanced Jacinto 7 architecture and provides high-performance computing for traditional learning algorithms. The SOC processor features next-generation DSPs with scalars and vector cores, dedicated deep learning, and traditional algorithm accelerators, general ARM and GPU processors, general computing GPU processors, and isolated MCU islands. The TDA4VE-Q1/TDA4AL-Q1/TDA4VL-Q1 processors are designed for smart vision camera applications including machine vision.
