Haleonconsumer health companies behind brands like Advil, Centrum, Emergen-C, Theraflu and Gas-X have appointed new Chief Research and Development Officers.
Carl Haney took the role in August and will replace Franck Riot, who left the company six years later.
Haney is Estée Lauder Cos. He joined Haleon and has served as executive vice president of global innovation, research and development for the past 13 years. In that role, he focuses on fostering transformative product innovation across the end-to-end R&D network, working closely with global value chain organizations to maximize quality and value within innovation. Prior to that, he spent over 20 years at Procter & Gamble, taking several VP and R&D roles throughout the home, health and beauty care segment. Haney said on LinkedIn that during P&G he is working on consumer-inspired, idea-driven technology through innovations across us, Latin America and Europe.
