Founded in 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, Hapman began his journey with the launch of a tubular drug conveyor for the automotive industry. Over the years, Hapman has consistently expanded its capabilities and product offerings, gradually changing its main focus from automotive applications to the powder and bulk solid sectors. Hapman has industry expertise in food production, chemical manufacturing, wastewater treatment and more, and has gained a reputation as a reliable name in material handling.

In addition to new product development, Hapman is expanding its manufacturing footprint. The facility expansion adds 18,500 square feet (an increase of 35%) to support increased demand and increase operational efficiency. In 2025, Hapman opened a new test lab, offering customers the opportunity to validate material processing solutions under real conditions and ensure optimal performance for their specific applications.
