heineken company drove its digital transformation strategy with a generative AI-enabled core that gives factory employees access to information about the company’s processes, standards, and practices.
CoBrain gathers knowledge from across a global network of breweries and supply chain knowledge centers that host thousands of standards and documents, so employees can quickly query the platform and receive information in seconds.
This is part of Heineken’s ongoing Connected Worker initiative, which has been deployed to more than 150 breweries and 80% of factory employees to date to keep operations running smoothly and speed problem-solving.

The second diagnostic use case is being piloted in a limited number of breweries and will be expanded globally in the near future. In this case, employees can use technology to leverage historical data to identify similar issues across the brewery and quickly find solutions.
“By connecting people, data, and machines, CoBrain is changing the way breweries work. We’re helping teams learn faster, act faster, and develop more responsive, connected breweries,” Dol Grigore, digital specialist at one of Heineken’s breweries, said in a statement.
