Levi’s launches ‘Super-Agent’ as part of company-wide AI push

Levi Strauss & Company will develop an agent-based AI super agent as part of a multi-year digital transformation effort. Direct-to-consumer retail store.

The company will work with Microsoft to build agent orchestration supported by the technology company’s Teams and Azure platforms to launch capabilities across various departments, including IT, human resources, operations, and more.

To automate tasks across the enterprise, super agents act as intermediaries for individual, specialized sub-agents, creating new efficiencies across the business and simplifying complex and repetitive tasks.

The structure of the AI ​​is currently being tested. Levi’s plans to launch it in early 2026 and expand to offices around the world throughout the year.

Levi’s began the process as follows. Consolidate application workloads Migrate from an on-premises data center to a private data center environment in the cloud. Additionally, the company added intelligent automation capabilities to power security agents and policy orchestration, enabling a Zero Trust security model while extending AI across its global operations.

“AI is a huge opportunity for us and is key to rewiring the way we work, from the store to the office,” President and CEO Michelle Gass said in a statement.

She added that the tools enabled by this AI construct will allow businesses to quickly access insights.

“AI allows us to reimagine the way we work and reimagine the way we engage with our fans.” Jason GowansChief Digital Technology Officer said in a statement: “From personalized experiences to automated workflows, we are embedding AI across our organization to create a more responsive and efficient business.”
