McCain Foods, a manufacturer of frozen potato products, hired Tommy Thomas will lead the enterprise technology efforts.
As head of enterprise architecture, Thomas will help design how the company uses technology across different geographies and functions, enabling end-to-end business operations and supporting the organization’s goal of instilling an engineering culture, according to a statement. linkedin.
In this role, Thomas will spearhead the technology architecture for cloud and AI initiatives, foster collaboration within the technology team, and drive strategic technology solutions that support the company’s growth and operational efficiency.

Throughout his nearly 20-year tenure with the company, he served in a variety of demand planning, IT, and analytics roles. He oversaw major digital transformations, including migrating critical systems to Google Cloud and building a multi-year ERP and e-commerce platform integration while establishing robust DevSecOps standards, an approach that uses automation to deliver secure software at an accelerated pace.
