In the fight over top AI talent, Meta had just taken a victory and reportedly poached three open-rai researchers despite the public ock-haha of Sam Altman, a rival to Mark Zuckerberg’s gorgeous employment tactics.

Zuckerberg’s widely reported adoption latest victory at Blitz: Lucas Beyer, Alexander Kolesnikov, and Xiaohua Zhai (founding Openai’s Zurich office) have joined the Meta’s super intelligence team, suggesting that Zuckerberg’s way can be offered.

Openai CEO Altman first revealed in a recent podcast with his brother Jack, so Zuckerberg is hanging a more than $100 million compensation package to invite Openai’s top talent. The WSJ later reported that Zuckerberg personally has hundreds of AI researchers and coordinates targets through his “recruit party” chat before hosting dinner at his home in Palo Alto and Lake Tahoe.

Strategies produce a variety of results. Zuckerberg recently bagged AI CEO Alexandr Wang with a $14 billion investment and became one of the 28-year-old Tech’s most expensive recruits. But Bigger Game has escaped Meta CEO, says WSJ, which includes Openai co-founders Ilya Sutskever and John Schulman.

In that podcast, Altman said of Zuckerberg’s charm campaign: [those offers]. ”
