Dairy farmers have more sharp tools at their fingertips following a massive upgrade to AHDB’s Dairy Genetics website.
The platform offers many new tools designed to support more user-friendly experiences, streamlined navigation, and data-driven decision-making.
The website forms part of the collection organization’s commitment to help dairy farmers increase productivity and innovation through the smarter use of genetics.
One of the most important improvements is the integration of advanced filtering and characteristic selection capabilities, allowing farmers and breeding experts to search for bulls and women with much more precision.
The redesigned site also offers full mobile compatibility, allowing users to easily access important information on the go.
All content is housed within a dedicated standalone website focused solely on genetics, simplifying user journeys and ensuring faster access to key resources.
Additionally, existing tools and reference materials have been reviewed and updated, and new guidance has been introduced to help farmers make the most of their genetic data.
Taxers benefit from increased control over their data, including the ability to manage or revoke third-party access when necessary.
“We are pleased to announce that we are committed to providing a wide range of services,” said Dr. Daniel Pitt, Animal Genetics Manager at AHDB.
“We recommend that all livestock farmers log in to their new website and consider their data. If you don’t have an account yet, sign up to get the most out of the new features and improvements.
“If you are having trouble accessing the site, feel free to contact us at dairy.breding.evaluations@ahdb.org.uk.”
