President Donald Trump arrived in England for his second state visit, describing it as a “great honor” hosted by Charles III of Windsor Castle.
The US President made landfall at London Stansted Airport on Tuesday evening. There, the new British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper greeted him as he left Air Force 1.

Trump, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, is expected to stay overnight at Winfield House, the official home of the US ambassador at Regent Park, before traveling to Windsor Castle on Wednesday.
Thousands are expected to protest during their stay, but he has no plans to engage in public.
Speaking to reporters before landing, Trump said: “My relationship is very good with the UK. As you know, who is my friend. It’s the first time someone has been given honor twice. So it’s a great honor.”
The visit comes as the UK and the US prepare to sign a groundbreaking technology agreement aimed at boosting cooperation between the trillion dollar technical sectors of both countries.
Trump is expected to be joined by a delegation of US executives such as Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Openai’s Sam Altman.
Meanwhile, Sky News reported that BlackRock is planning to invest $700 million in UK data centres as part of a series of announcements related to its visit to the state.
The UK was the first country to sign a bilateral trade agreement with the Trump administration in May. Under that contract, Washington has pledged to reduce the tariff on aluminum and steel from 25% to zero, but the changes are still in effect.
Trump has pointed out the possibility of tariff relief on British steel ahead of talks on Thursday with Prime Minister Chale Starmer, the prime minister’s country’s residence.
“I’m there and I’m there about trade. They want to see if they can refine their trade contracts a little. We’ve done the trade and that’s quite a bit and I’m helping them,” Trump said.
