Prices for barbecue on July 4th are rising, according to a parliamentary analysis.

Americans may spend more on popular barbecue items this July 4th at the prices of products like beer, outdoor folding chairs, and grill tools, according to a new congressional report.

The total cost of a typical food trip for cooking has increased by 12.7%, from the tariff announcement swept by President Donald Trump in April, according to an analysis of Democrat minority in the Joint Economic Committee. Another report from Rabobank, the Global Food and Agribusiness Bank, found that the cost of a 10-person barbecue rose 4.2% this year, reaching $100 for the first time. The BBQ index highlighted the increased price of beef as a contributor.
