A new chapter in Rollon’s history: the company celebrates half a century of innovation with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art facility in Michigan, USA.

NORTON SHORES, Michigan – June 12, 2025. Rollon, a global leader in linear motion technology and a Timken company, proudly announces the opening of its new 13,600-square-metres manufacturing facility in Norton Shores, Michigan. The milestone coincides with Rollon’s 50th anniversary, marking five decades of innovation and setting the stage for future growth.
This investment strengthens Rollon’s North American manufacturing footprint and will support the growing demand for linear motion systems across industries including robotics, aerospace, medical equipment and material handling. With increased speed, precision and sustainability, the new facility reflects a modern approach to production, centred on solving customer challenges and enabling future growth.
“We built this facility for our customers,” said Andrew Allendorf, Rollon North American Business president. “From faster response times to streamlined production, we are now better equipped than ever to help our partners turn ideas into action and challenges into opportunity.”
The new facility centralizes teams and operations under one roof, significantly reducing lead times and improving collaboration. “A year ago, building a Robot Transfer Unit (RTU) in four weeks was nearly impossible,” added Allendorf. “Today, we’re achieving it, and that’s just the beginning.”
With ample room for future expansion and strategic plans already underway, the Norton Shores location represents a long-term commitment to growth and innovation.
