Motorcycle Company is expanding its technology partnership to further integrate and optimize R&D with Siemens Xcelerator.
October 8, 2025 – Siemens Digital Industries Software has renewed its technology partnership agreement with Ducati Corse (“Ducati”) for the next two years, detailing how the Siemens Xcelerator Platform will help the company achieve its mission of creating increasingly powerful, safe and sustainable motorcycles.
“Our partnership with Siemens has not only helped us meet the current challenges, but has positioned us perfectly to meet the challenges of the future, both on the racetrack and in the global market. Together with our technology partners to stay competitive, we are ready to continue to innovate. “In the world of racing, we can change bikes until the last moment counts. For example, on a race weekend, we can design new components remotely using Siemens technology.
“Our collaboration with Ducati shows how digital transformation allows companies to excel at developing cutting-edge technology for the racetrack, and then quickly applying those insights to the wider business,” said Franco Megali, vice president and CEO of Italy, Israel and Gries, and CEO of Siemens Digital Industries Software. “This is a perfect example of the power of Siemens Xcelerator to enable multi-domain teams to collaborate and achieve innovation at an incredible pace across the enterprise.”
Ducati’s R&D team’s adoption of the Siemens Xcelerator includes a wide range of software and features. Polarion software provides requirements capture and management. DesignCenter NX software powers innovative design. TeamCenter software provides a digital thread backbone to connect design and engineering data to Ducati’s ERP system, enabling cross-department collaboration and central data synchronization.
Simcenter and Simcenter TestLab software allow Ducati Corse to virtually simulate and integrate digital simulation with physical test processes and data collected from the track during race weekends. The Siemens solution also helps guide design and engineering into production using Siemens’ Fibersim software.

In addition to dominating the motorcycle racetrack, Ducati also relies on the Siemens Xcelerator to connect the world of motor racing to its street bike business, with the team center playing a pivotal role in connecting the two worlds.
Pietro Mappa, CAD/PLM Manager at Ducati Motor Holding, explained: “Thanks to Siemens Xcelerator, we have reduced development time by fully sharing data from the racing world to the street bike world. Vehicle design engineers can collaborate.”
The Ducati Lenovo Team won the 2025 MotoGP Championship with Marc Márquez winning the Rider’s title and the team winning their 6th consecutive MotoGP Constructor’s title and winning the 2025 MotoGP Team title.
