
President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the two biggest US banks had previously rejected him as a client, claiming that conservative clients have been unfairly rejected.

The president then said he was approaching. Bank of America Trump said the bank could not provide an account to him because he would “deposit more than $1 billion.”

Trump has mentioned his business, and perhaps his real estate and hospitality conglomerates, but it was not clear whether the episode was related to personal and business accounts, or both.
Trump said he believes large banks have rejected him and his supporters as regulators during the Biden administration put pressure on businesses.
“The bank discriminated against me very seriously and I was very good with the bank,” Trump said.
JPMorgan has refused to withdraw from targets for conservatives or Trump supporters.
“We have not concluded an explanation for political reasons and agree with President Trump that there is a desperate need for changes to regulations,” a JP Morgan spokesperson said. “We praise the White House for addressing this issue and look forward to working with them to get this right.”
