LAS VEGAS – June 16, 2025 – Antaira Technologies announced today its DTD-480-0953-T 480W DC-to-DC Power Converter has been named the Silver Award Winner in the Power category for the prestigious Control Engineering 2025 Product of the Year program. Being recognized by Control Engineering’s audience of engineers and automation professionals solidifies the DTD-480-0953-T’s position as a game-changer in challenging applications in automation, where it safely boosts 9 to 36 VDC input to an adjustable 48V~55V output to support higher power devices.

In automation, it is common to have 24 VDC power available in the panel. The DTD-480-0953-T boosts this low voltage to an adjustable 48V~55V output required for standard PoE switches to properly operate and supply PoE power to connected devices. Besides PoE switches, it can serve as an external booster for high port count Ethernet switches not equipped with an internal power converter.
Additionally, the DTD-480-0953-T is beneficial for use in solar-powered remote sites or in motor-driven vehicles where 12VDC batteries are available. In both these situations, the DTD-480-0953-T’s internal power booster will increase the 12VDC to match the higher voltage needs of devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points and LED lighting.
Housed in an IP30 metal enclosure with an operating range of -40°C to 75°C, the DTD-480-0953-T is ideal for where extremely rugged, reliable devices are required. A built-in Step Voltage Regulator (SVR) allows it to safely convert voltage levels in a range of 48V to 55V. Additional protection is provided against short circuits, overloads and reverse polarity to help prevent damage to connected devices.
The DTD-480-0953-T conveniently mounts on walls or on DIN rails inside panels.
