Kim Kardashian fans will have to wait a little longer for the much-anticipated Nikeskims line.

The Activewear line will be released later this year, not later this year, as originally announced due to delays in production. The person added that the delays are internal and not due to suppliers or shipping issues.

The new launch date has not been determined, the person added.

People also said that Kardashian’s relationship with the brand is still strong, but they said that everyone is on the same page, but they want to take the time to make sure the product is right.

Nike first announced the Skims partnership in February, saying it will include apparel, footwear and accessories. Since then, Heidi O’Neill, one of the leading leaders behind the partnership, has left the company.

New Nike CEO Elliott Hill has placed a big bet on the Skims brand as he is about to reinvigorate the company after recent sales and a decline in its business. In the case of Skim, who was last valued at $4 billion, the partnership with Nike offers opportunities for growth as it expands to athletes.

Nike’s stock has fallen by more than 20% so far.

“The origins of Nikeskims are rooted in a desire to bring something new and unexpected to an industry that is craving something different, and we want to invite a new generation of women to fitness with a disruptive product designed to meet needs in both performance and style,” the company said when it introduced.

The news was first reported by Bloomberg.
